Use conventional section headings

Headings such as Profile, Work Experience, Education and Skills are immediately understandable to both people and many screening workflows.

Keep important information as text

Do not rely on graphics alone to communicate job titles, dates, skills or qualifications. The core evidence should remain readable as normal text.

Mirror the vacancy honestly

Use relevant terminology from the job description where it accurately describes your experience. Do not stuff unrelated keywords into the CV.

Choose a restrained CV design

For ATS-sensitive applications, favour one of the cleaner single-column or low-decoration designs and keep the visual hierarchy simple.
